Zulu was one of my fav films,i watched the finale on you tube earlier,piles of dead and twitching zulus,would it cause insult if made today.

Although it wouldn't Seem the same if the Zulus were all white in a remake
As long as it was accurate I don't see how anyone could be offended.
Don't understand your question really owdhamer. When I saw it there were lots of dead and twitching Englishmen as well. And seeing it was based on fact why should there not be piles of each. As I recall, there were lots of Zulus left and they decided to let the white men go very magnanimously. The last shot of them as they shouted their war cry from the top of the hill and then disappeared over it was very impressive and dignified.
Hmmm - can you imagine if it was PC? there would also have to be a precentage of female, gay and disabled zulus too......not sure that would work.
It might be deemed racist if he shouted..."Fire at will.i.am"

I remember watching that film with my dad... seems so long ago!

I don't think it would cause offence if they decided to re create it.
Lol Elvis. Was is racist when David Rattray foremost Zulu war historian was murdered in 2007.
