Have got about 20 or so on my Amazon wishlist; mostly novels about day to day lives of families or quirky sounding ones. Often buy my mum books as she has very similar taste to me.

Anything by Peter James, Peter Robinson or Douglas Kennedy or true cat/dog stories (as long as they have a happy ending)!

One of my friends would like Tom Hanks' biography - she loves him.
