The technicians tell me that the issue with the "Next 20 Questions" has been resolved. Our apologies for the inconvenience, and our thanks for your patience.

We believe that most of the other technical difficulties have now been resolved. If you are still experiencing technical problems with the Answerbank please respond to this question with details of the fault(s). We will endeavour to correct them as quickly as possible.

Tonight I seem to be having a problem I have never encountered before.  I started typing a reply and after the first few words my typing just ... disappeared. 
Hi Hgrove - I have also noticed, when typing some answers, that the text looks different & starts further down the page. I wait a few seconds, then the text disappears & the cursor goes back to the top left hand side of the page, ready to start again. It's those little Gremlins again!
It's really irritating the way that the last word of each line is chopped off partially/fully. The white background is too bright, especially if logged on for a while. Hoew about making it a calmer, more eye-friendly pastel colour?
Ab Ed - Intermittently, I can't get to the 'next 20' questions today, nor can I use the 'Back' button.
When Typing a question or answer...sometimes text that you just wrote clears itself. this is annoying because a umber of times i have been writing long answers and have had to start again because the text cleared. thanks, matt
AB Ed, I think you are going to have to make Technical Difficulties a separate section.  This extremely useful thread is becoming an overlong mish-mash of different topics and replies.  If I post that I have now tried  bob101's idea and have seen the Adverts Category (sorry, Topic) for the first time since I arrived � thank you very much, bob101, it will just foul up the thread.  And you will have to spring-clean it sometime � how do you do that without violating your principal of only removing (sorry, Banning) answers which are irrelevant profane, abusive, etc.
When you do separate it off, perhaps you should still leave the pink Technical Difficulties posting where it currently is.  Just change the wording to "If you are experiencing technical difficulties on this site Click Here"  and link it to your new section.

Hgrove - I suggested this to AB Ed last week.

A separate category under Topics on 'Technical Issues', has to be better than a pink box! 

Hgrove.  Disappearing words happened to me.  Typing away I was and then suddenly it all disappeared.  I thought I had imagined it!
It has just happened again!
Has anyone mentioned that the 'back' and 'back to top' buttons that used to be at the bottom of the thread are no longer there, which can be annoying if there's a really long thread and you have to scroll back to the top of the question to get to the 'previous' and 'next' buttons.  Yes, I know it's no effort to scroll, but it would be nice to see those buttons again!!
While we're at it, could we not have a 'previous' and 'next' button at the bottom of the thread instead of the 'back' and 'back to top'??
From all these problems that people have posted and reported, it seems like only some errors have been fixed, let alone most of them.
Yes I'm also still not getting the text on the right hand side, and I agree the white is a bit harsh .
Still not getting to read the whole questionas it keeps cutting the right hand side off?!?!?!?!?

AB Ed - Please, when are the tech's going to fix the 'next 20 questions page'?

Surely, it's taking far too long, sorting out what should be a relatively easy task for qualified technicians to do?

Please can we see an end to all these problems soon?

When I answer in posts that I started, or try to rate answers I keep getting the "You will be directed to the answerbank� page and I go back the homepage.  However, the posts and ratings are applied to the page when I manually returen to it.
I still can't click on the 2nd. or subsequent pages so I will have no idea if this will appear or not!

The AB technicians tell me that they are still investigating a number of tricky technical problems raised here, and that they contacted several users for more details but received no replies.

So, if you have a couple of minutes, would you mind e-mailing our technical department, using the link at the bottom of every page? We'd be awfully grateful for users' help.

Thank you, AB Ed, for implementing my "Contact us" suggestion.  It will make life a little easier for us ABers.  I hope it makes things easier at your end as well.
