You overheard a conversation I had yesterday Anne! Yes I do and when OH had no immune system I used to disinfect the change in his pocket..... Yes, he thought I was nuts too. :-)
Couldn't possibly do it every time I handle money since there is no sink at tge counter in work. I'd be constantly running back and forth to the staffroom.
What prompted me to ask was that I was standing in a bank in China watching two men opening accounts. One of them undid his trousers and pulled put a pair of women's tights that he had wrapped around his crown jewels. They (the tights!) were full of small denomination notes for the teller to count.
The second did the same. Can't say I've seen it happening here, though.
Whenever I come home and after taking my coat off I wash my hands. If I've been shopping I also wash them once the shopping is put away! I can't eat anything if I don't wash my hands first. I think this contributes to very few stomach upsets and sniffles.
I worked in a shoe shop when I was a teen. One day I collected bags of change from the bank. When I poured the change into the till the smell nearly cleared the shop. It had obviously been banked by the man who ran the fish stall. The bank must have been desperate to get rid of it.Taught me a lesson.
I used to work with a man (until I twigged) who used to borrow my newspaper each morning. it was a little whiel before I realised that he read it when he was having his morning poo - I stopped bringing it in, shortly after that.
