ok to clarify this whole hoo-hah....

On monday a gentleman came into my shop (i wasn't in) asking for slippers in a size 7, we had none but requested them from another shop. He come's in today (my heart sank when I saw who it was) to try on said slipper - last time I sold him slippers I sold him size 8 - bearing in mind this slipper had a fur lining he proceeds to tell me it doesn't fit and he can't get it on, so I said politely, you could take your sock off (was one of those heavy winter 1-inch thick jobs) he replied 'But i ALWAYS wear my socks'.....don't get me started on the woman yesterday....but i do feel slightly better now
