First Hatchlings

well the first I've actually seen ...the Barn Owls in Cornwall have hatched 3 with a couple of eggs still to go ...at the moment it's just a squirming pile of fluff but mum has just come in to feed them

its a little owl, the female has a white face. This is their 3rd year under the tiles of an outhouse. No camera but have cctv on them.

I love the thought of a squirming pile of fluff. It's always nice to hear of new life, whatever the species.
