Why do gamekeepers do that carrust?
Absolutley awfull, but until the fine's reflect the crime's, this sort of diabolical behavior will continue.

The nest site is very near some grouse moors, horseshoes. Some gamekeepers think that anything with a hooked beak should be exterminated.
horseshoes, they do it to protect the game birds, like Phesant, Partridge etc, so people can go out and shoot them!!!! Mind boggling!!
There is no suggestion in the article that this was a gamekeeper.
have they any idea how few game birds they take..... even with young they are more likely to take competitor species and rodents
Does'nt matter who it is, though most likley a keeper, they should still have to pay huge fines and even prison in my book!
