My dog has a small spot on his stomach right next to his penis. Last week it came to a head and some pus came out of it. It then shrank but it has come back again. Got a little more pus out yesterday it's now very small but still there. I panic because he had a mast cell tumour last yer. Sure it's not this again as a tumour would not contain pus would it? And it would be much bigger. Is there anything I can put on it?

take him to the vet!
Go and see the vet - you know he's been ill before, don't hang about and don't try to treat it yourself. It may be totally unrelated, but it can't be very nice for him, you trying to deal with his nether regions. Let the experts do it - any cream etc for humans could be dangerous to a dog.

A tumour wouldn't have pus coming out of it though would it?
i know you are looking for reassurance, but what good is false reassurance?
I wouldn't assume to give you advice about it, crunchiesmum, I don't know the answer - it could just be he's got a thorn in his skin which is infected - but the vet can look at it under clinical conditions.

Looking for facts not reassurance. Pretty sure tumours aren't filled with pus.

why not give your vet a ring and explain it to him he might be able to set your mind at rest without you having to go in
Did you find out what the spot was? I hope that everything is okay - when it comes to lumps and bumps I think that we all start by assuming the worst. I hope that it is nothing more than an abscess or sore bit.
