Congratulations to Handsome George and Mr and Mrs Thugulike, George was second in a very big Limit Dog class which is a great result. He looked fabulous and he has the most gorgeous head.
I had a good day too, winning Veteran Dog with Del who is twelve and a half, second in Veteran Bitch with Heather who is fourteen and a half, second in Limit Bitch with Tango and third in Good Citizens with Totty who are both six. Just home, and getting ready to go back tomorrow for Saturday's Discover Dogs.

Well done to you Lankeela! And the best of luck for tomorrow too!....................
Well done to you and your dogs
Well done Lankeela, we'll be looking out for your further success!
Well done both. I came over to find Mr Thug in Discover Dogs, and someone pointed me in the wrong direction to where you were, and I was wandering around aimlessly. My young man won the largest class of the day in our breed, mid limit, so I was well chuffed. Are you both at, Builth in April? As I dont have many shows lined up this year.
Only one head, how disappointing,I was sure that the breeder was aiming for two at least.
The judge should have marked it down for only one head!
Well done Lankeela. We were at Discover Dogs. It's a tough job, being petted and cuddled all afternoon, but George rose to the challenge, or rather he lay down on the job with his legs in the air with crowds of people around him. I had several requests for a puppy if we put him to stud this year. He's been snoring all day, he's not used to being awake for that long. Jules, we're going to SKC in May and Blackpool in June so far. We'll meet yet!
Oh eck, nor Blackpool. What about Bath? I just looked at your photo on our site with George, and the bloke they told me that was you, definitely wasnt, so I am glad I didnt go and say 'are you Mr Thug', LOL!
Kate and i are going tomorrow, We are getting things ready now. Well done to all
LOL Jules. Mr thug was wearing a Big Dogs T shirt which said on the back, "I'm not fat I'm just big boned". George wasn't within the cages, he was lolling outside.

We're not doing Buillith but I'm looking at Bath this weekend. We may make a holiday out of it. And I think Birmingham too. I remember when we had relaxing quiet weekends!
Well this bloke was in a wheelchair wearing, I think a white rugby shirt, sound familiar?
Yes, he was trying to slip George into his pocket. He was besotted so I gave him my business card in case he wanted a George puppy should they be forthcoming. I was sitting behing George and Mr thug was standing to oneside. So near. Next time ask for Graham and Jean. LOL what possessed me to pick a name like thugulike???
congrats xx
I know that George is a handsome looking dude - but is he of a really good pedigree?

I am currently sitting between two cats who are glaring at each other and growling - siblings!!

Susan
wolf63, George's dad is a champion and was the number 1 mastiff in the country last year. His mum had 2 championship certificates and 2 reserve CCs. Not a bad pedigree.
So - the lady dogs will be lining up to spend valuable time with George the stud?
Indeedy. He's already had a few offers. We're thinking we'd like a George pup too.

Just home after three trips from Norfolk to Crufts in five days, spent all yesterday and today on Discover Dogs with Woolly Bear (thirteen and a half) and Tango (six) being fussed by everyone and promoting their breed. They wagged their tails non stop and are now very tired, but extremely contented.
