jules well done on your boy's second in Limit. My GSD pup was 2nd as well, and his dad was Best of Breed and won the Group, his mum won Limit, his sister was Best Puppy and his 'aunty' got the Reserve Bitch Ticket. Not a bad family day out! Heelers bombed, best I got was 3rd in Good Citizen!

Thanks Jacky, I was pleasantly surprised as I wasnt going to enter. He was beaten by a dog the judge had already given a CC too, and Tedward wasnt on best form being a little reluctant to get his ears right up on top of his head. I hadnt checked on our Group judge beforehand, and realised last night Ellis Hulme was doing it, and he gave my bitch a ticket 18 months ago, but we would have had to have got past the breed judge with her first.

Well done on your wins, especially your dogs sire BOB and Group 1 win, WOW!
Is crufts on TV this weekend?
Its on More 4 on an evening for the group judging, but you can watch it all day on Crufts TV.

Well done Jules and Jacky. We, for the first time ever, were not placed. Still we had a good day, no complaints. My it's tiring though! George is flat out and snoring.
Thats a shame for you and George. I am knackered, Ted got me up at 6 ish with an early morning wash, so I guess he has recovered!
They are showing Crufts on the TV at the moment, on More4. I'm keeping my eyes peeled for ABers! Well done, jules and lankeela!

Thanks sprinter, we now start thinking about next year and which shows to enter to qualify those who haven't already done so. My plans this year include Scotland (twice), Wales and Malvern, so already an expensive year with entry fees, diesel and accommodation. Pup has qualified with his second, so now looking for good judges for him to work his way through the classes. He needs to mature a bit as he's a lanky teenage at present. Now the work starts! Sorry George was unplaced, we all have those days, my Tango was chucked out with the rubbish too, first time unplaced at Crufts. Oh well there's always next year and another judge.
Jacky, Have you ever been over to Ireland?
Yay, we'll be in Edinburgh 3 times and Malvern. See you there.

No, never been but they only ever had Heeler classes at one show. Now I've got another GSD maybe if the judge is right I might. He needs to mature now so this year will be just for experience and see how he turns out.

Might do Border Union at Kelso, we have got a decent judge there this year and I've never been - they say its a lovely setting. Might make that the holiday this year and stay up for a week. Who says show dogs have a sad boring life? They will be running free over the hills every day and swimming in the lakes.
