David Bowie. Had a slight lapse in the 80's but last 4 or 5 LP's are fantastic.

Bands and singers who have been around for decades and have sold zillions of albums are reknown for them, ie The Stones, The Who, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Neil Diamond, Bowie etc

If you are an avid fan of any of them then you`ll buy their new albums with the new stuff on and think it`s great

But most people who like all the old stuff think the new stuff is sh!te

Unless you`re a Cliff Richard fan, but even his loyal fans are not allowed out of their nursing homes nowadays to waste their money on his records

Its no secret that I rate Neil Diamond.He is very quiet and humble but when he started singing it was bliss for me.
I didnt know he wrote Red Red Wine for example -he is a great talent and I have no shame in saying that I love his music and salute him for the musical genious he is.
