I have an 11 week old boxer and an 8 month old chocolate lab how much should i feeding them i currently give the boxer 300g over 3 meals andthe lab 400g over 2 meals (purina beta puppy/junior) any info would be gratefully received. Thanks

I have fully grown akitas which only eat 400g a day each. I was concerned that such big dogs only ate that much but a breeder said that was all their dogs ate. As long as you feed them quality dog food ( pedigree or purina beta ), and not any cheap stuff, it should contain all the vitamins they need. Obviously all breeds are different so it could be a bit of trial and error but basically use the guide on the packaging as a rough guess.
