Twice now , over the last couple of days , her indoors has used the phrase
' swing by ' .
Just now she instructed me to 'swing' by my mum , on my way home from work and pick up an item .

Where has she picked this up from , i ask myself - lol

Reminds me of westerns films , where the sherrif is going after some baddies and says to the riders with him - we'll 'swing' by the ranch and pick up the rest of the boys .

Baz...that's okay....but if she starts using....."innit"....divorce... :-(
Maybe she is having an affair with a cowboy. Stranger things have happened!!
noun.........

"Aerospace. a trajectory that uses the gravitational field of one celestial body to alter the course of a spacecraft destined for another body."

I'd take it as a compliment, Baz. Obviously a reference to your celestial body.....
