Unfortunately ASBO has eaten something caustic which has blistered his mouth. I took him to the vets tonight as he was salivating beyond words. He had an antibiotic shot to deal with the blisters in his mouth and I am meant to give him pain killers. Unfortunately (and despite my strict instructions to the contrary), whilst I was preparing the nursery wing, no 1 step son let him out. So now poorly ASBO is at large and his Slave is feeling quite helpless and bereft!

Poor ASBO, fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. BM, do you think he may have been poisoned?
Poor ASBO I hope he feels better tomorrow.x
I have followed Asbo's life story I truly wish him well.
There is nothing more pathetic than a poorly pussy cat. I hope that his is feeling better in the morning and that he will be able to eat more prawns. At least he isn't out wandering around feeling cr4p.

Best wishes from me and my 'twins' XXX (kisses are for ASBO)
hope ASBO is feeling better in the morning
I hope your wee boy is feeling better this morning. They look so small and fragile when they are poorly (or 'poor poor' as my little niece says).
Barmaid, do let us have an update if you can - Rover, No1 Son and Black Spot all send encouraging vibes to your boy.
Hope Asbo is better this morning.
Lucy (our mutterooni) is sending positive thoughts xxxx
Was out all day yesterday so missed this - hope your ginger friend is on the way to recovery - it's crap when pets are ill

dave xx
Barmaid we need to know of he's OK today. Have you had to take him to the vets again?
You don't think somebody has done this on purpose do you in retaliation for the dog attacks?
Wishing the little fella all the best.

Well the patient is a little improved today. He doesn't appear to be salivating quite so much. He still won't eat his normal food but I have given him some more prawns and some milk (vet said to give him milk - otherwise I wouldn't) and am just cooking off a chicken breast (the other cats will eat most of the meat, but i should be able to get him to drink the stock).

He's definitely not a happy cat though. And he is in a ****** of a mood because he is confined to barracks.
when do you have to go back to the vet with him?
Thanks for the update, onwards and upwards ASBO
BM :-D you've still got him. Thank goodness. However he will be giving hints to the dog-bully as he is confined to barracks.
i agree with my darling halle . . . er - sorry, i meant sibton.

onwards and upwards.

looking forward to good news when you've been to the vet.
I hope your little man gets better soon, Just out of curiousity you haven't used any antibacterial sprays in the last 24 hours, like dettox or shop brand names?
How is ASBO this morning? x
have you got a blender? you might try cooking the chicken to rags and then blending it into the stock to increase its nutritional value.
josaphine, your avatar is an absolute cutey. (Sorry BM)
