The ad says they're mild-tempered. Thank goodness. I wouldn't want to face an angry frog!
Heathfield, it is the 'African DWARF Frog' that is mild tempered. The link was to an 'African Clawed Frog' - a different kettle of fish altogether.

haha, my sister bought my son one 9yrs ago, he is 18 now so seeing as i have cleaned her out and fed her i have adopted her.She lives in a fish tank in my utility room and goes in the bath a couple of times a week for a good swim, she has a little personalitiy, come to the front of the tank and puts her claws up to her mouth if she is hungry and makes ribbit noises at night, its nice like noises you hear abroad. Apperantly they can last up to 15/20 yrs, don't think my sister knew this!!! she is no bother and quite a nice pet, i don't know of antone else who has one tho!!
No, and never will have! My old cat used to go and catch frogs from next doors' pond and bring them into the house through the upstairs window, and into the spare bedroom - which also had an en-suite shower - I've gone in there a few times to find a frog in the shower, and had to ask the OH to get rid of it for me - I really do not like any reptiles at all!
