Indi- for the first time ever jumped on the sofa, chirped and head butted me for a cuddle whilst purring! I nearly fell off the sofa in shock as she's so far not been in the least bit friendly, which I think is outrageous considering how much she bloody cost, lol.

I made the mistake however, of taking my eyes off her for a second- and so she punished me by flopping onto her back, rugby tackling my arm and biting down....ahhhh well, nice while it lasted!

Eric has taken to making himself known on my knee even if I am using the laptop, he never used to do that. He just sort of arranges himself around it, except one night last week when he decided to actually lie half on it. He also is a fan of the arm tackling and teeth sining game although he does at least respond to 'gently' (sometimes) and bite slightly less hard.
patience, CD, it took jno jnr 10 years to respond to "gently"
So it's not just my cats who bite then. One minute all cuddled in a cosy, head butting for attention then wham their teeth your arm ouch! That's cats I suppose
Sounds like just the thing Blue would do. Any time I get playful with her she thinks its its a sign to grab my arm and start doing that bunny kick type kicking with her back feet.
Let's be honest. They view us as mobile scratching posts and food suppliers.
alba, got it in one, our scabby tabby not only does it to us but has a fair old go at the Dobies as well, they give him a lot of space!
