Uk Post Code

I'm trying to find find the post code for "65 Stafford Crescent, Clayton, Newcastle-Under-Lyme" on the Royal Mail site, and I get a red message saying, more or less, they can't find it. Could anyone over there help me with this?..I know it exists, or used to, because I lived there.

I just used Google. I usually use a desktop PC but am using my Kindle (under the duvet) just now. It is not as easy to do searches.

I went into the Royal Mail site and it didn't give me an answer. Are you sure of the name of the street, Styford was mentioned in some of the Google results.

If nobody else can give you the answer I might try on the PC when the cats make me get of bed to feed them. Cats can starve overnight I have been told.

Wolf63, I just pasted the post code you gave me into the Royal Mail site, and it seems that it ends at # 63 Stafford Crescent. 63 Stafford Crescent, NEWCASTLE, ST5 3DZ. Perhaps my old house has been torn down:)

I presume you are bored - is the snow too deep on the field, cutting you off from the pub. That would be something to cry about.

I am going to try getting to sleep again. The moggies have bee chasing each other around the house. They sound like stampeding cattle.

I happened across a B/W negative of my sister posing in the front yard of that house when she was about 2 years old and made a print of it for her --th birthday. I gave her all the details of the location to write upon the back of it and, for some reason, she wants the post-code...Goodnight/morning.

Have you tried having a look on Google Maps street-view to see if the area has changed much?

All you need to do is just put the address into Google...it will bring the post code up straight away. It also works in reverse !

Stewey, that list you just posted is Newcastle on Tyne, not Newcastle under Lyme in Satffs?
