I said there are 16 mods, which is correct but includes ABEd and SpareEd. Pixie, you might find this sticky post interesting

No mod is here 24/7 and often there are none around at all. For example, early mornings I’m very often the sole mod around so requiring agreement between two wouldn't be practical. When a post is removed a report giving the reason is sent to the editors and they decide whether or not the removal was justified. It’s the only way it can work.
Tcl- eds are not around 24/7. And let's be realistic here....! Mods are accountable to the customers first- or there are no eds ... they didn't train you, did they? Lol.

Barry, we are constantly told that (no offence, but you are starting to sound like a mod atm)- in reality- the rules are not the same- which is why people are often a little baffled about decisions- and- not allowed to ask!
Naomi, I don't think anyone would argue about spam or adverts. Maybe 2... for ABer posts.
I agree with naomi. I have so far only banned obvious spammers, I haven't removed any posts. If I was in two minds about a post I would either report it in the same way everyone can or email the ABEd about it.
It’s not always spam or adverts, pixie.
Thanks Barry... so 9.... including tcl... who are pretending they aren't? Why, if they are just following Site Rules though? Even mods aren't happy with themselves :-))
It should be naomi. What are you removing- that you absolutelty guarantee your 15 co-mods, would agree with?
No mod can guarantee that all the others will agree with them.
//I agree with naomi. I have so far only banned obvious spammers, I haven't removed any posts. //

Not sure Naomi's ego would agree with that :-)
What do you mean, pixie? That sounds quite personal.
17:17. You are saying the same as me then- that Site Rules are not clear enough, and down to interpretation....
It is. Which rule number are your removing that by?
I had no idea there were so few mods. Were you supposed to tell us Barry one week into your promotion. I could almost name them all. Some of the ones who aren't open about it are so obvious :-)
No i’m not saying that. I’m saying, for example, that some might give more leeway than another would - or suspend a poster quicker than another would.
I’m not removing it, pixie. Nastiness is sometimes best left for the world to see.
Naomi... leeway is irrational. Someone is either breaking a site rule or not. They should be stated, clear and obvious- particularly,if it gets deleted. It should not bea matter of opinion, but fact.
Prudie, anyone can see how many mods there are by looking at the link Barry provided. It’s not a secret.
So is honesty! For someone so willing to make personal attacks... it is laughable, when you suggest others do :-)
PIXIE, "Thanks Barry... so 9.... including tcl... who are pretending they aren't?"

Damn! You've seen through my cunning attempts to hide my secret identity!!!!
