Next door but one to us has some bunting draped across their washing line, but that's it for round here.

Anyone elses neighborhood like any of these? Or...more importantly, is your house bedecked as such? Go arrrn, admit it, we won't judge you!

It's no different to the OTT xmas lightshows people bedeck their houses with every December Far too many 'lowering the tone of the neighbourhood' whingers in this country

No we are not be-decked but next door has the cross of St George hanging out of the front bedroom window. Nice touch, wonder if he will remove it if England don't get through ...
Nope. The house at the end of my street has the union flag and the Georges flag....24/7 52 weeks a year and has done for at least the last 20 years. Haven't see any flags besides them.

Am I the only one who thinks there's no English spirit this world cup?

Probably as the majority of fans, like my hubby seems to know that our side won't do too well this time ummmm.

i just like it for the atmosphere of it all, daft things like Mini Boo's school all dressed in footy gear for the day.
There are a few round here (Essex flatlands) and a few car flags as well.
I have seen nothing around here.
Nothing like that hanging in our streets. :-D
As I've said many times before I've ALWAYS got the cross of St George on my car number plates and I fly the flag on special days.Round here though there aren,t all that many flags flying.
There's a couple of cars festooned around here, and a few houses where St George always covers the bedroom windows - but nothing much else.
I wish there were more. Go to Ireland and they all have their flags flying.
Bleugh.... almost as bas as the nutty christmas decoration.. definitely too much for me.

Actually don't think I've seen too many flags either thinking about it.. butbthen I only realised it was even on this week!
None near me but saw lots about earlier in the week round Wythenshawe way, a lot of pubs with loads of flags and bunting too.
The lady in the flat next to mine has a flag on the balcony. She told me that local police want flags taken down as they offend other groups...eg,local Polish.....:O
No definately not. I always think of some BNP wallah claiming his bit of England when I see that.
Having said that a friends daughter put two flags outside her car windows and forgot about them, opend the window and lost them on the M62 somewhere.
Given that I live in N. Wales they're in short supply around here, however I don't mind them.
It's only once every 4 years and it doesn't harm to be proud of one's nation, though I do feel for England fans because in this PC era it's seen as far too jingoistic, bordering on racist for some pathetic reason.
Seen quite a few in my neck of the woods and on my way to and from work.
I've got my Falklands Flag ready for Liberation Day tomorrow
In John O'Farrell's book, An Utterly Impartial History Of Britain, there is a wonderful (imagined) conversation between a lad and his mother from around the year 1145. "Mu-um! The second crusade's about to start. Can we have a St George's flag on the chariot?" Reply, "No darling. We don't want people to thing Daddy's a builder."
I am going to put my magnetic England decals on my car tomorrow, hope they stay on there for a while, fingers crossed.

Although some pics on the link were tacky, I would rather that than people not bothering, we should get behind England.
