Good morning everybody,I really feel spring is here now. It's warm and sunny and the heathers scattered around the front patio are literally covered in Red Admirals and Bumble Bees.

You're right there gness no matter how you leave it at the start of winter there's always loads to do come spring.Trish and I have been pottering round most of the morning and are just taking a break before getting stuck in again unless we take a ride to the garden centre.I could hear her mumbling about different plants that had died off and needed replacing.
Well, it's close. Maybe you're getting a preview.
Love to see the buds and catkins this time of year.
Paddy....it's the garden centre for me....I created a large border in the autumn and now need to plant it up. The soil is bad though...claggy and heavy despite my work on it. It's like planting in soggy, raw potatoes...but I'll get there.

Brill sunshine in N/Kent now, did first cut of our grass yesterday, it's now looking as if someone cares!
My daffodils are out. I'd love to see loads of them in The Lake District, like in the poem!
