Reformatting with DDO

My hard drive is due for a reformat and a clean Win98 install- but i have an older computer that doesnt recognize hard drives over 8gb. Therefore my ungraded 20 gb drive has DDO on it. Can i safely...

floppy not working

I had to unplug my floppy to work on my cd-rw but when i plugged it back in, it wont work and im getting an error msg: 2f8h com address conflict> Any ideas people? Im baffled ~Jim

right click on start button

When I right-click my start button (Win98), i can't click Open or Explore; they are greyed. How come?

W98 file associations: followup

Thankyou PD for youir help, but your suggestion doesnt work. Nor does manually changing association in Windows Explorer\view\folder options\FileTypes. And it isnt just My Win98: I have seen this...

Imesh/newnet spyware

there is an evil .dll in newdotnet that comes with imesh- if you delete it, it stops norton and modem from working- it happened to my g/f and she had to have her hard drive reformatted! any help would...

W98 file associations

can anybody get W98 file associations to change? i have followed microsoft instructions tot he letter but it just doesnt work- my g/f has W98 and hers doesnt work either
