peugeot 406 cutting out

my 406 has an intermittent fault that causes the engine to cut out when junctions ,traffic lights etc are approached.The engine can easily be restarted and the problem may not occur again for many...

engine problem??

Recently brought a used car (53 plate), very pleased!! But I checked the oil today and found on the dip stick a slight rough brownish substance, is this anything to be worried about?????

astra!!!!

hi, i my 2002 astra needs a new gearbox, my partners cousin is a mechanic and he has quoted me ?700 to buy a new gearbox, fit the gearbox and do a cambelt and water pump change. sounds alright to me...
