After the slog of last week's numerical, a nice easy ride this week. Some very straightfoward clues, a little chuckle after filling in the perimeter, nothing too taxing.

The Times site has made a mess of the interactive version of the TLS crossword this week, so before I waste too much time could somebody with a hard copy please let me know a) whether 10A, 27A, 18D...

A little bird tells me the clue for 11ac is missing from the on-line version. Just for interest, could somebody with the newspaper post the clue here, please, if it has been printed?

I spent a long time staring at a grid with the source filled in and a knowledge of the letters that had slipped before I started cracking the clues. Having basically solved it in the reverse order I...

Thank you, Poat. Quite pretty, but not tough enough to keep me away from the garden for too long this fine weekend. I have to admit I had to rely on the phrase to get me started on the bottom...

I'm delighted to see that there is, after all, a Listener this week, and glad I signed up to the on-line service as our local newsagent does not open on New Year's Day. It's a nice puzzle, but prompts...

Take care when downloading this week's Mephisto from the Times website. Last week's mislabelling by date is still with us, so that the Mephisto at the top of the selection list is last week's (2584)...

I see that Mephisto 2584 on the Times web site has the date March 14th against it. When the papers hit the mats tomorrow, it would be very helpful if somebody could post confirmation or otherwise that...

Note that in 17a the length given (7) is correct - a vertical bar is missing in the grid (in the on-line version, at least), as can be deduced from the symmetry.

Can anybody supply the clue (not solution) for 28d please? It's missing from the on-line version. I can only see one normal word that fits, but there's a forename candidate too so the clue is...
