I have been travelling over the Rhigos mountain every day now, since last week, and there are temp. traffic lights, for some cable laying work.

As well as the normal signs, there is one that reads " Please drive carefully, as my Daddy works here "

Isn't that nice ?

Road Works signage needs to display a clear message quickly with a clear image and/or a few simple words. That one sounds like a distraction for drivers with too long a script!
There was one that use to be put on the Rear End of the HGV Trailers Mickey, these were put on for the clowns that drove right up your rear end, " Smile as you go under" It was never taken heed of & many got killed.
along the m1 are pictures drawn by children of a family member and the words my mummy ,daddy ,sister, brother ,uncle etc works here drve carefully x
Some HGV drivers out here have two signs on the back of their trailers.
On the right....Passing side
On the left....suicide.
the signs featuring kids are also on the M62.

btw, your part of wales has something of an enviable record for road signs......

My favourite road sign is "Adverse camber".

First seen by me on the M20 on the way to Dover, I wondered how many UK residents (let alone foreign visitors) would grasp its meaning before it hit ...
