There are two kinds of painkiller that you can take at the same time. . .I remember one is Ibruprofen, but can't think of the other one. (you can alternate them so that you're having a pain killer every couple of hours) What is it please? I'm in pain with my tooth. Thanks

I'm on co-codamol .. I was hoping to stay on them indefinitely .. they've given me a pain free working day. Don't say I will have to come off them at some point!
Elina.

Each post is answered on a personal basis......Marijin has toothache and we do not know what dose she is taking and, of course, there is a satisfactory alternative......the dentist.

Now if she had other painful disorders our advice might be different.
Elina, your GP may just put you on Codeine and paracetamol separately, that's what usually happens in my experience.
Ah o.k sqad. Marijn .. hope you don't mind! Long term osteoarthritis sqad .. 500mg ... only needing to take two three times a day instead of prescribed four times a day.
Elina.......;-)........that is fine.
Yeah Ratter .. was taken off Etodolac with paracetamol inbetween & given co-codamol instead.
That's a relief sqad! I was wondering at one point how I'd possibly carry on working till retirement age till I started takinging these.
Thanks Marijn x

Elina, you're more than welcome to ask questions on this thread.
Thank you all for your answers. I have already been to the dentist, I'm not avoiding him. I went last Thursday and we couldn't pin-point the tooth it was coming from. I have a double crown that he thinks may need to come off, for the tooth to be root filled, but he didn't want to start that procedure until he is sure it is that one giving the pain. I'm going again this Thursday to see if we've got any more ideas. It hurts across four teeth.
