Went to use a very favourite pair of glasses last night at CU -now favourite as in lenses although they were £200. Couldn;t believe the legs were chewed - I truly never let these glasses down on the floor - maybe on small table - this would be second time - another favourite - you know maxie is responsible. The chewed bit hurts your ear.

While on the subject of CU - it has now changed vehemently - nobody knows anybody on the job any more if they do they don't talk so I decided not to say as I would hi ya everybody - so I didn't - you know not one answered back - not to say Conne how were you with the sickness last week. Just feel like leaving Mondays night - I enjoy Tuesday nights and I may ask for another day/night but sure I might get the same response. Deffo the young ones are not as friendly as were in my day of work. Unbelievably so. Also I do believe attitutde from boss is - well if you don't like it leave it - we got a memo some time ago saying is you now want to volunteer (which I have done for 35 years) (you have to sit an interview now) - it is now run like a bank. A few more months/year may do me but I know I will need to do something else voluntarily.

This post puzzles me. Is this a follow-up to a previous post? Does anyone know what this post is about? Am I missing something here? I am very curious.
Jenny has a dog. The dog has chewed her glasses.

What the rest of the post has to do with pets is a mystery.

sorry - should have put the rest of post in Chatterbank - just that I carried on with feeling with the way I do. The dog did chew the legs. sorry for annoying or mystyfying you.
All pets do have an uncanny knack of finding our favourite items to chew.

Re the CU - sometimes what appears to be aloofness or ignorance can be shyness, I would still greet folk in a cheerful manner.

Well done for all those years of volunteering.

Certainly wasn't annoyed, jennyjoan, a little mystified maybe. thanks to you and to ummmm for explaining. I understand how you feel about the dog chewing your glasses - my cats chewed my hearing aid.

Brought glasses to specsavers but because i didnt buy them there they couldn't fix them - I love these glasses because of the lenses particularly - last time I wrapped black tape around the legs but they were sore too - anybody any other ideas. can't bring them back to last optician as they have closed.

Harvey also chewed my hearing aid to bits and they cost me £2,000
