Bbc News
Apparently the BBC employs over 7,500 people to work in their news division.
I can’t see why they need so many, when much of the BBC news I watch, consists of the reporter reading articles out of that day’s newspapers; or are they including those employed by the papers?

I haven’t attacked the BBC, although have I to say that during the recent election Nick Robinson offered some of the most pernicious items of propaganda I have ever heard – but I expect that’s alright in your book. My main bugbear with the BBC is the lovely Fiona Bruce’s awful jackets!
Canary...I agree with you 100%. The Beeb is the best broadcasting company in the world as far as I am concerned, and we should be very glad we have it. As I have said in the past, right-wingers on here only complain when they realise that the BBC doesn't have its lips firmly attached to the buttocks of the Tory Party, like the Daily Mail and Telegraph. If the BBC criticise anything that the Tories do or say, then it must be because they are left-wing, not because the Tories deserve it.
