Spent it in Totnes, coffee & scone in the sunshine then a trawl round the charity shops (got some bargains), then some shopping and finally an hour inBorough Park, taking in the beautiful view. A perfect morning!

Glad someone is getting the sunshine. It was gorgeous here yesterday, but bitterly cold today - I've had to put the heating on again boo hoo. Enjoy the rest of your day.
same here gorgeous day ,and i too went to sue ryder and got 3 bargains x
I had no idea where Totnes was, so I looked it up. An extremely attractive and picturesque town. That arch with the public-clock and bay window seems to appear in a lot of the pictures. Look to be very "touristy." though
Did you see the Totnes monster?:-)
I've not been to totnes in ages. Yes,touristy...but erm...civilised...lol
What's this about a monster??
what a nice morning, wish I could have came with you.what bargains did you get ?
Just bought two massive bottles of jamieson's for £13 each. I don't know why I'm happy about that as I don't really drink the stuff.
What a pity that Keith Floyd is no longer with. His place at Tuckenhay, not far from Totnes, was always worth a visit. Most entertaining Mine Host I have ever met....pretty good food as well !
Oh no, it's raining now. I'm coming to Totnes!
I wonder if anyone lives behind that window and sits there taking pictures of the tourists taking pictures of them.
For me, a trip to Tregony on the St Just Roseland peninsuala, scallops and pancetta salad in the pub there and then a wind-down through the lanes to Philleigh and over the Fal via the King Harry Ferry and back from there. Keeps the mater happy.

Bought a Wallis maxi dress, a Per Una skirt and a Next summer top all for less than £15! Love Totnes, the only place in England where you could walk around in your pyjamas and no-one would notice!!!
or even nude, carole? They are so Dartmoor naturalists up there, must be the moss in the bogs or that they put their cream on their scones the wrong way up....
