We hear harrowing stories regarding how cheap life is in many parts of the world, and yet in the UK we see situations such as this were hundreds will turn out for the funeral of an unknown child.

Don't let anyone change the UK, we are most fortunate to live in such a caring country.

Those mothers who abandon their babies to die should be charged with murder.
How sad. Poor baby. :o(
AOG - //Those mothers who abandon their babies to die should be charged with murder. //

There is no reported evidence to suggest that the baby was left to die - but there is reported evidence to suggest that it was fed and cared for.

It appears that the conclusion is that the baby died, and was left out for someone to find by a mother incapable of dealing with the situation.

Doesn't sound like grounds for a murder charge on this occasion.
Actually, I agree with Jim regarding the people of Wootten Bassett. Those people who do possess a sense of loyalty, patriotism, and compassion should be proud of it.
Extremely moving aog. Made me cry.

Apologies - careless quick typing - there is reported evidence to suggest that he was fed and cared for.
