In a bedroom, what should you hang, and what should you fold, clothes wise?! Ta

I hang everything up so it doesnt get creased (not that i iron anything till i need it!!) obviously not pants and socks and stuff tho, they go in a box and the bottom of the wardrobe, i dont own any draws

WEll I thought that, then I thought, thats a hell of a waste of a three drawer chest. Underwear taking up the top drawer.. but then I get lost!!!

Don't hang heavy woolens - they will stretch out of shape.


Don't hang thin cotton t shirts, they will take the 'imprint' of the hanger.


If you have linen type trousers that crease easily don't hang them unless you can hang them from the waistband - you will never iron the creases out otherwise.


Jeans, jumpers and t shirts can be stored in the drawers - I prefer to 'roll' them rather than fold them.


Generally anything delicate or woollen, I hang up. Also any fancy or irregular shaped tops that are likely to either crease or be difficult to fold!


Everything else I fold

I tend to find that most of my clothes sit in a pile at the bottom of the stairs waiting for me to take them up to the bedroom!
