Anyone else got these in their lawn yet? The lawn seems to have developed lots of little piles of dust within a very short space of time.

Not seen any yet but I'll be on the look out now.
Wee need all the pollinators we can get!
I've seen similar looking ones around but the have a much longer proboscis.

I only noticed them when I mowed the lawn and flattened their nests. It didn`t seem to bother them though as when I had a look in the late afternoon there was a little head poking out of each nest. They must have all gone home to roost at the same time.
