@237SJ Is there anyway to get over this?
You're welcome
Paranoia is not a phobia. The fear that someone can read or control your mind is often cause by schizophrenia which is not a phobia either.
You're first move should be your GP to try to find the cause.
I'm a therapist and everyone has correctly addressed the question. A combination of cognitive therapy and possible medication if persistent are the usual treatments, and the doctor will assess the cause and find a diagnosis.

Ok thanks everyone, does anyone know where i could read more about this?
The specific fear that someone can read your mind is surely a symptom of paranoia, which is a more general term.
There is a lot online- which might not be too helpful without a cause. It might be worth contacting your local Mind and speaking to them.
schizophrenia.....thought broadcasting!
We usually give out involuntary signals which may be interpreted by those skilled in reading body language. Someone might spot that a person has guilt feelings but nobody can read what those feelings are in detail. The fear is totally irrational which is why a professional Cognitive Behaviour Therapist can help.
