We have a robin nesting in our window box and she has half adozen or so eggs. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to hatch; I think I found the nest 2 weeks ago. Also would she still use the nest after her babies have flown? Many thanks

Good description at http://www.garden-birds.co.uk/birds/robin.htm The parents won't use the nest after the young have flown. This is common with nearly all birds.
