Golden Jubilee Medal 2002 - awarded to members of the Armed Forces and emergency services who have completed 5 years' service on 6 February 2002.

I do not believe that Prince Harry (nor William) would meet the criteria for eligibilty to receive the medal therefore I maintain his award is for nothing other than familial connection.

As a young newly promoted Sgt, I was to accompany the RSM on his weekly drill parade, when he saw Pte P****sh, (name deleted by me) he stuck his pace stick in his ribs and said "there is a piece of sh!t on the end of this stick P****sh" the hapless Pte replyed " not on my end Sir"
