Watch La Traviata live from Glyndebourne via the Telegraph website, link attached. It will become live at 5.45pm. I hope Emmie sees this as she should enjoy it if she's well enough.

Good job you all ignored me because the sound is dreadful.
I've only just seen this - sorry it let you down ladybirder, such a good company.

Oh I agree they are wonderful Maydup but I can hardly hear it. Everything on full volume but totally spoilt. Now there's something wrong with the broadcast anyway. It's a DISAAARSTER darling:-) But thank you for replying. I was hoping em would see it.
I watched it LadyB. I should have come on and thanked you for putting up the link, but I went to the pub, and forgot :o(((

What a cracking good production though. Very modern party atmosphere. I didn't have your problems with the sound though. It wasn't miked-up terribly well, but you don't notice so much when you're well into it.

Thanks again.

Tut! I'm so jealous, I should have come down to yours and had a listen TB. If you could hear it OK then it's probably my computer. So glad you enjoyed it though, their productions are always a treat.
