Howdy, I am going to Wembley in June for a gig and need somewhere to stay. We plan to stay in London for 3 days, but it needs to be fairly cheap (on a budget) no hostels or shared bathrooms please. Last time I stayed in London it was in a hotel which wasnt very budget pricewise but awful to stay in - so not trusting the websites I have decided to ask you guys where have you stayed and what was it like?

Any info is welcomed,I need to book now.

Thank you in advance

These is quite good basic but clean and comfortable, we use them when if we have to stay in London and can't stay with our son.

The London ones tend to be cheaper than most of the other hotels in London but dearer than the ones outside.

You will have to check and see which ones are nearest to where you want to stay.

Hope you enjoy your stay. We will be coming to San Fransisco and New York later this year. Really looking forward to it,

That didn't work very well in the last post so I have done it again. The rooms are all onsuite so no sharing.

Hope these help.

Yup I agree with Jim Jooles, these are young chain hotels, basic but good, most are purpose built, so may be in a built up area ,but as you are looking in London what isn't?. I use these all over the UK when travelling with the kids ..never had a problem yet.
If it is still there, there is a pub called The Green Man which is within walking distance from the stadium and Arena which do B & B. My son won a competition and the prize was to lead out the England Football team at Wembley and the company organising it was going to arrange for us to stay at the above mentioned place, but as we are within easy travelling distance of Wembley we declined and just claimed for transport and parking to Wembley instead. I cannot therefore say what the accomodation is like, but might be worth checking out. Alternatively, if you try the hotels in Harrow and Northwick Park, these are all close to Wembley and won't charge extortionate prices like the centre of London
not stayed there but easyhotel is cheap if you can stand orange !

Hello there!

Was just posting a question about hotels at Wembley and yours came up - I've just heard today that the new stadium won't be open for the concerts in June.See this link (If it works!) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/4862156.stm

Thought I'd let you know in case you are affected. The BBC website says Bonjovi are going to Twickenham but according to BJ's official website they are going to Milton Keynes-if thats who you are seeing.

Hopefully you can get a refund on your accomodation if you decide to go to Milton Keynes instead or on your concert tickets if not!!

What a pain! That's all thought I'd let you know.

Thank you for letting me know I have been in a Q on the phone to Ticketmaster today for about 20 mins only to be cut off - which was nice of them. I emailed them and they told me they knew of no changes - what a joke lol.

Hi Greedyfly,

If you click on the link above (again if it works-not too good on the technology front!) It should tell you all you need to know.

The only concert is appears that they haven't made a decision about yet is Robbie. Such a pain in the behind!

I hope you have a lovely time, we're now off to Milton Keynes for Bon Jovi and Take That! What joy!

Im refunding my tickets - I only bought them so we could be at the first gig at wembley and they changed and put a date ahead of the original and now there not even going to be ready - waste of time it all was lol.

Thanks alot for the info though, its good to know whats going on
