Why are there shots of Canary wharf throughout the program ? It gives the impression Alan Sugars office is in Canary wharf..but its not.. he's office is in Brentwood.

Can you imagine the opening titles running with scooping ariel shots of Brentwood and environs. Instead of the London Eye - the ferris wheel from the fair could be in shown in profile in the morning mists. At least Sir Alan doesn't have the Donalds comb-over I have to tune in just to see what they do it week by week! I have to stop , lmao, tears in eyes. Is Brentwood really rough? I have noticed they have two liveried bouncers on door patrol! tee hee

Brentwood isnt rough at all obviously there is no land marks there for the helicopter to film (apart from the Brentwood centre home for ex 80's performers eg David Essex, status quo etc ) and the Toby carvery.

Just find it very pompous to give the impression he has office in Canary Wharf but cant imagine Alan Sugar buying an office there far to expensive.

Yes I'm sure someone with a personal wealth of nearly 600 million pounds would struggle to buy an office in the Wharf ;-)

Narrator; "The task is over, so the teams return to the Boardroom to meet Sir Alan...."
(cue shots of Canada Square, the Lloyds Building, Natwest Tower (ok, 'Tower 42'))

Scene 52;
(Shot of contestants entering Amstrad Head Office, Brentwood House, Brentwood, Essex)

Still, I don't suppose shots of the teams in their sleek black cars struggling with the traffic on the Gant's Hill roundabout as they make their way up the A12 projects quite the same image.....

Bluemakka - Yes understand he is wealthy but is he embarassed by his "Brentwood house" office hence he likes to give opinion he has office in Canary Wharf and he is known as a bit of a skin flint (except where charity is concerned) so really cant imagine him paying over the odds for office in Canary wharf.

Good picture - have passed this building several times doesnt it look like something from the 1970's.
