Do not underestimate cats, a stray we adopted got knocked down and killed a few weeks ago. (Arrrgghh) already we have another cat hanging around at our relatively remote property. We haven't advertised this vacancy but cats have had their own internet connections for years and know where to come and look pathetic!
I have actually heard of this happening quite a few times. Cats are opportunists and this one will be waiting for the right time before turning up at your door looking all pathetic.
My cats are indoor cats as I live in a city centre. Merlin is terminally stupid (according to the vet) but her brother is 'normal'. I love them so much but have often felt the desire to throttle them.
Wolf, And my daughter had similar thoughts when her walked under the open ironing board, was spooked and jumped so high he hit his head on the board...then ran like hell! Cats!
Merlin has huge hairy paws and due to her fierce temperament I asked the vet to clip them. Did you know that they muzzles for cats? We gave up in the end - but my little girl was pretty impressive.
Thankfully I don't have an ironing board. But Frankie has murdered two clothes horses.
Lol wolf, poor clothes horses. Another time daughters said cat was fast asleep on back of armchair, fell off down the back and BANG ....burst a balloon lurking behind the chair. She said she's never seen him move as fast as that before! Cats eh..what would entertain you if you didn't have them lol.
