If it was a Tory councillor or aUKIP represntative we sually see posts with gusto about how disgraceful to supposed 'misuse' of the R-word. Even when they are using it technically correct.

So can I assume it is ok for her to use it?

I still would like to know what she's supposed to resign from.
Had it been a male actor, he would have been taken to task over it, what does a man know about rape would be the cry?

Incidentally isn't it anti PC to use the word 'actress' are they not all 'actors'?
There are many men sadly, who do know what rape means, but I agree the outcry would still have happened.

good point buddy

'actor' is a generic term, actress is used when gender is a relevant distinction

same as 'police officer' and 'female officer'

if a woman needs searching it's not much good asking just for a 'police officer',

and when you're casting for St Trinians calling for 'actors' who look good in school uniform
it seems she was instantly asked by the questioner whether she really meant the word. And it's been in the papers. So it's hardly passed unnoticed. So what do you want her to do, withdraw from the next election?
This looks alike an attempt merely to get the word UKIP into yet another question.
This website is still doing some very dodgy stuff btw ...
Dubious apps trying to start and re-directs to suspicious looking pages ...
