Friday. Light cloud about, it looks like it's on fire from the rising sun. Beautiful.

Lots to do today, packing etc. I'm taking some eggs with me as there are no farms nearby. A dozen each of hens and ducks, with 6 goose. Collecting them today.

Good morning Boatie and everyone. Start of the weekend here and it's already over thirty degrees.just been tending the garden such as it is and feeding all the wild birds that turn up. If I'm not up by 6 at the latest they tap on the windows. Off to nearest supermarket in a moment to get yesterday's papers. GY doing well he's up to level 3on cardiac re-hab exercise dvd.
