Traffic Wardens

Do you know anyone who is one?

it might be sterotyping a bit but any i have encountered have been very rude

i understand they have a difficult job in terms of the abuse they must get but i often think if they were a little bit more pleasant then things would not escalate in the first place

what are your thoughts?

Our local one tends to have a chip on his shoulder. My friend parked on the highstreet one morning and whilst getting her baby out of the car saw him coming towards her so she smiled (shes a very cheerful person) and said something along the lines of "Oh I dont envy you your job!" And before she could say anymore trying to explain that he must meet difficult people at times he replied, "Well my job pays for you to not have to work!" Whilst pointing towards her baby! And walked off!!
Tbh I always stick along the lines of if have paid for your ticket/ displayed your disc and parked legally then you have nothing to worry about!

Years ago we had a lady traffic warden whose nickname was Hot Lips as she always wore bright red lipstick! She was always smiley and happy and would take no nonsense but was always pleasant enough.
