Britain has already withdrawn all budget support payments to Uganda, what more does Bernard Randall want them to do?

/// The UK government has said that it ended all budget support payments to Uganda last year and has reiterated that the concerns caused by the anti-homosexuality bill would most probably deem the country ineligible to receive aid. ///

And why should the Ugandan authorities allow one of their 'criminals' to do that?
Would be a bizarre country that desperately wants to keep hold of those it sees as criminals... they might be desperate to get rid of him.
In their view if a 'pervert' was out of the country he would no longer present a threat to the morality of the country.
If he's deported, surely Uganda no longer has a say in where he goes?

Then Britain must be a very bizarre country, because isn't this what we do all the time?
Yes, but we don't want to it seems.
"Britain has already withdrawn all budget support payments to Uganda, what more does Bernard Randall want them to do?"

I don't think that we are the best people to answer that question, but I suspect Mr Randall is looking at the response from the Nordic countries as a baseline.

Perhaps you should look up their reaction for an idea of what Mr Randall is referring to.

Put in his position, if you knew your wife was about to spend seven years in a jail in Uganda, would you not move heaven and earth to get her out of the country?

Can I think about that.....
Haha ZM!

Sorry but I really hate it when people do this. All I can find is that they've cut aid - like the UK has...
