I know that the 'onesie' is something of a new phenomenon, so i am intrigued about the ettiquette of wearing one.

When we decamped back to my daughter's house after her son;s fourth birthday party at a local venue, her partner changed into his onsie.

My wife was aghast, likening it to getting ready for bed when there are guests present.

I liken it to putting on trackie bottoms and a tee-shirt - just being comfy in your own home.

Which is your view - or any other view for that matter?

wouldn't suggest going commando.
I had a siren suit as a kid, loved it.
PaulO'Grady looked cute in his onesie on Battersea dogs tv programme, if you feel comfy in one why not ? but not to go shopping in but then if you have seen the videos/ U tube of Walmartians in the US then onesies are pretty tame.
afterthought, how do you get on with this guy ? perhaps he put it on to ensure that you would leave pretty soon ?
As I sit here in my lovely tabby cat onesie, I remember back to the 80s when we all wore one, but called it a jumpsuit.
Dee Sa, when I need a laugh I Google the Walmartians.......brightens my day, every time!
Eccles they really are un believable aren't they ? but I love it ! have been to Walmarts over the years but never have been lucky enough to actually see anyone outlandish only grossly overweight ones.
Now that is an outerwear onesie Emmie. An entirely different animal to the dapper little fleecy number I'm sporting ce soir
i can't understand wearing it outside, a girl was wearing a pink fluffy one
i must admit i really don't like them
did you see the others in the link, i didn't realise there are loads.
do you have to nearly undress to go to loo? what a pain, and I wonder how Margaret and Mable of the aunt Bessies advert get on, they both get into a onesie together, too cosy I think.
Onesies are for kids not adults, bad enough him wearing one at all let alone when there are guests in his house.

Does he ask for Bitty as well?
And I thought this was the most ridiculous thing I had made,,,,,, smittens... mitts for lovers.

pass, cant post a pic.
Aside from onesies being daft, they are completely impractical for ladies, rather like that 1980s fashion for elegantly-cut boiler suits. Of which I will confess to having worn one. It was fashionable at the time and I had the figure. But the onesie will share the same problem as my amazing bottle-green side-fastening boiler suit, viz when you need a ladies widdle you have to strip down. That is a lengthy and irritating process to endure every time you need to go. So the onesie should go into room 101.
Did they used to be called jump suits ?
LOL, where did you get it, mojojo?!
