I wont touch it.........a bad year, in fact every day has been bad with Beaujolais Nouveau.
Young, bad French wine.....forget it.

Oh sqad, you old grump, lol x

Nope, vile over publicised stuff, nothing particularly good about it. Ever.
Pppssst -look at the Related Posts below, JJ!
grumpy.......steady it is not bad when sprinkled on fish and chips.
It's all about the hype...the wine itself is never up to much.

Yes, I've noticed the related posts.

Surely I can't be accused of being boring if I've only mentioned it twice before in five years?
who says you're boring, JJ? (Nobody else has mentioned it in five years, LOL)
Yer gotta get a few swigs of "Bojangles Five Star", brewed in Come-By-Chance, Newfoundland, inter yer; that'll certainly give yers a new view!
Beaujolais Nouveau?

Always over-hyped.
Frequently over-chilled.
Even more frequently over-priced . . .

. . . and nowhere near as good as the new-season Rhine wines (which the Germans wisely keep for themselves).

However, if you're buying JJ, you might still tempt me to a glass or two. I'm in a Wetherspoon's pub in London at the minute, so I could get to Brighton quite quickly!
;-)
pretentious hype,
Not into BN though I have sampled some reasonable versions over the years however.....we have now been spoilt. When on holiday we went to a vineyard Le Chateau Bellevue La Foret in the Fronton area of France. Each of their wines is fantastic but their Optimum is just spellbinding; complex, full bodied everything you could ever want from a wine at a reasonable price well 16 euros a bottle....if you are ever in he area try it!!!
