Hate to tell you this but it is sunny here, not too much of a wind and it isn't too cold either. I'm east of Edinburgh. I heard once that all the trees from Orkney and Shetland can be found in Norway Glad to hear Mrs LNM is doing well. Hey Minty, You well?

But we Scots are like irn bru....made from girders !!! ...Lol...

How's Mrs nessie doing ?
No one is going to thank you for that remark LNM someone tweeted the news team this morning from Orkney and said that is just a strong breeze up there!
Don't think the two people who sadly lost their lives would welcome that remark
Because vac....a strong breeze in Orkney is so much much more than that !..it's all comparative and what you're accustomed to....
LochNessMonster - You could be describing my bathroom any night of the week in Glasgow :-)

Fact - Orkney has no trees as its that windy.

Just making a wee point, Murraymints she is doing well, pipe from the distillery is work a treat? Thanks Tartan loons
It's like this every other week........that's why it's NOT headline news.
LNM, your comment about the lack of trees on Orkney reminded me of a trip to Aruba where I encountered the divi divi tree. Its foliage always points to the SW because of the prevailing Trade Winds. See the photo in this article.

Hey Minty, You well?
Hiya nun.xx...fine thanks..you get my mail re mazie?
well, that's the thing... gales in the south east is news, gales in Scotland isn't news. Something that happens every day isn't news. Something that seldom happens is news.

Besides, London papers aren't cluttered up with the reports of price movements on the porridge market.
Yeh, been a bit out of circulation lately, loads of mail to catch up on will be in touch soon.

Another day out missed!
Buy Oats futures ..... ;-)
