I have a mate who says he always buy a lottery scratch-card if its near the end of the roll, maintaining a theory that they are usually prize winning cards.

So , at any time you can see how many top prizes remains on a particular game and chance your arm .

However -

1. How do you know ,on what date a particular game finishes ?
2. Is it when a claim is made , that Camelot updates the
' number of remaining top prizes ' information ?

In the past, there have been complaints that scratch cards where all the prizes have been won, continue to be sold. So much for prizes being at the end of a roll.
