As far as I can see, since the bible specifically forbids same sex relationships, the church and the state are facing a huge dilemma. If this couple succeed in their challenge, what impact will it have on the church?

@Sandy If he wants to take up another hobby, along with talking to plants, or obsessing over homeopathy, or decrying modern architecture, thats up to him :)

He can do more or less what he likes for me, so long as we could disestablish the Church and have a truly secular state.
The 'spidergate' affair shows he could be meddlesome. Even with all those interesting hobbies, and a new grandchild to look after, he appears to have too much time on his hands. Could he get a part time job?
@ Sandy - I thought his part time job was counting all his moolah earned from the Duchy of Cornwall, and dreaming up new flavour biscuits to sell?

Didn't he write and illustrate a childrens book, once upon a time? The man has more hobbies than I have hot dinners! :)

That could well be the outcome.
The Bible also forbids having anything to do with pigs but that doesn't stop Christians indulging in the bizarre anomaly of Christmas Ham.

They also wear clothes with mixed fibres despite God's Word forbidding that too.
