It's my nephews birthday tomorrow and birthday people get to chose what's for dinner (he lives with us)

He's requested a meat feast.

What meat would you cook and what would you serve with a plate of meat?

I'm not a big meat eater, nephew is a veg/salad dodger.

Does he mean Meat Feast pizza? Otherwise, i would guess mixed grill type meal or lots of cold meats, mini sausages etc (and salad for those that will eat it)

If he wasn't working until 8pm then we'd def have a BBQ.
Get one of those meat feasts from the kebab shop
What about a nice Kleftico'd leg of lamb, loads of garlic, herbs and lemons.
Question Author
I like the kebab idea. I could give him the cash and tell him to get it himself on the way home from work :-)

I had to google that, Rocky, added it to my favourites.
It's very nice Ummmm, but it's treat given the price of lamb these days :(
If it's just the 4 of you, and not wanting to spend a lot, how about a browse round Iceland, differing types of chicken, chinese/barbecued ribs etc ?

In this heat, you don't want to slaving away in the kitchen :-)
Question Author
I don't mind spending money but he's the type of person that wouldn't be able to tell the difference between fillet steak and stewing steak...
use it as an opportunity to educate his palate :-D
Question Author
I try that daily :-)

When he comes in from work he doesn't even heat his dinner up.

If you want a meat feast send a man shopping on his own. He's come back with steak, lamb chops, pork chops, chicken wings, ribs, liver and kidneys.
pulled pork yummy x
Your nephew is old enough to be out at work until 8pm, yet when asked what he wanted for his birthday dinner asked for "a meat feast" and "food that you can tear apart, like a caveman" How old is he?!?!?
"Not pizza....he wants meat that he can tear apart like a caveman."

Chicken wings
Turkey drumstick
Ribs

Sounds like an excuse for a BBQ.

He's 22 and he didn't actually say that, they were my words.

We had chicken wings, ribs, steak and lamb chops....

This is the one I do...
