Hotpoint Washing Machine.

The rubber door seal has been replaced as the other one was black & smelly despite me wiping it out after every wash & always leaving door open.
Engineer says I should not use liquid washing gel & to change to powder, has anyone else any experience of this ? Your feedback would be helpful especially as I've just bought a new bottle of liquid !!!

Mine's a bosch. Did say on another thread, got blockage, from powder not being dissolved properly and it did smell. Went onto liquid at plumber's advice and no problems since.

And had to have new spark plugs and ignition coil today. £207!

Vauxhall meriva. Engine management light on and started flashing last night. Car felt really rough. Is fine now though

Thanks to everyone the water here is very hard & have problems with limescale on shower etc., however quite pleasant to drink.
