Rock stars all take coke...so there's a start.

(I'd also offer squash and milk as well)
he's 1, he will probably sleep through the whole thing, why have a Rockstar theme? what's wrong with iggle piggle? Blimey it sounds proper daft, what will you do when he's 10?
sorry that sounded harsh rude and ridiculing, i think for my grandson's first birthday we bought him a ride on tractor and a card. He's 10 now and we took him to watch a movie for his birthday.
Sorry, but I'm with Dot on this one.
When my youngest was one I had a few of his chums from the mums & tots around. I put a large plastic cloth on the floor, put the food on paper plates & let them get on with making a mess. Afterwards I simply scooped the cloth up, and hey presto, a clean room.
We then let them play for a while and after an hour they were all zonked and cleared off home.
Why not take them out to a soft play area and have a little party there? Your theme sounds OTT for a baby.
stuff that a one year old is actually able to eat would be useful

Racking my brains further, thinking back to my son's 1st birthday.... I made teensy cheese spread sarnies, had "soft" nibbles like KP Skips, bowls of chopped up soft fuits (bananas & strawberries) and other stuff suitable for one year old babies. Not very rock & roll I'm afraid!

this could make sarnies a bit more rock n roll
well done sophie.....I'm gonna have one of those!
I`m afraid I agree with most a first birthday is more for the adults and you will have years of planning parties when the child knows what they want, don`t make it hard work (speaking from experience)
hee hee, enjoy your rockstar sandwiches, I'm sure the likes of Ozzy would approve!
